Waxing keeps your skin hairless and smooth for longer than other traditional methods except for laser hair removal. Waxing removes large areas of hair quickly, so it’s perfect for people on the go.
How long does a waxing session take?
A session takes somewhere between fifteen minutes to an hour, depending on the size of the area to be waxed.
How often do I need to wax?
Waxing removes hair at the root, so results last as long as it takes for new hair to grow. After your first session, this should take about three to six weeks. Additional sessions can reduce the amount of hair overall, giving you longer lasting results.
Will waxing cause skin reactions?
Waxing can cause skin reactions. After treatment, avoid irritating the skin. Wearing sunscreen is always recommended. If you do experience a reaction a provider can recommend possible solutions to ease any social discomfort.
Who shouldn’t wax?
Waxing shouldn’t be done on unhealthy skin or over varicose veins, moles or warts. You should avoid waxing if you are taking Accutane®, Retin-A® or similar medications. Those prone to infection, such as those with diabetes, may wish to seek alternatives to waxing.
Brow Waxing
Great looking eyebrows impact the face; they are a crucial part of the overall architecture and framework. A brow can make or break an overall look of a person’s appearance. There is an art and science to creating the right shape for the correct composition of a person’s brow. A bushy eyebrow can make eyes look smaller and closed and in cases of extremely bushy eyebrows, too masculine. Great care is taken to consider the client’s bone structure and the desired shape. Although some people cannot have the shape they really want., the aestheticians at The Museum Spa & Laser Center love work with what you have and try to achieve the best balance for each client. This procedure takes 15 – 30 minutes and lasts about 3 -4 weeks
