Avene & Glytone – Pharmaceutical Grade Products

Glytone focuses more on the use of glycolic acid. Glycolic acid is an alpha hydroxy acid known for its exfoliating process. Glycolic acid has the smallest molecular size of all alpha hydroxy acids, thus the results of using such products are very visible and typically very quick. Glycolic acid stimulates collagen and elastin fibers within the skins layers which in turn improves the appearance of the skin, reduces wrinkles and fine lines and gives the skin a plumper, more youthful appearance. Glycolic acid is not only useful in treating the effects of aging, but is also great for treating acneic issues.
